I had my opening reception at the Burnett Gallery on Thursday, March 1st. It was amazing to have so much of my family and friends show up in my support in addition to all the wonderful follow art enthusiasts. I encourage everyone to attend my exhibit which will be on display throughout the entire month of March.
So I am going to go out on a limb out there, but it seems like I do have a few viewers on my site each day. As I go through other artist's blogs, they seem more interesting, enticing, and funny. I've never been that funny when it comes to writing (my husband definitely is) but I feel like I could contribute to my blog a bit more and with better content.
So my question to you is: What would you like to see on this blog or on this page?
I dare you!
P.S. It may be completely presumptuous for me to think anyone is actually visiting my blog but I will try.
I just found out I will be able to present my artwork at the Burnett Gallery in Amherst come March of 2018. There will be a opening reception during the monthly art walk so please save the date and check it out along with all the other amazing artists around town. I will be displaying country side works in charcoal with possibly a pop of color.
My husband and I joined his parents for a joint birthday celebration at Caminitos Restaurant in Northampton, MA. The food was delicious =)
Just visiting some countryside areas in Hadley, MA for a project I'm working on...such a pretty day yesterday.
After a long hiatus, almost 1 year, since my wedding, I have decided to come back to the art world. I have two immediate goals - to sign for an acrylic painting class starting next week and to file an application for the Jones Library in Amherst. It would really be exciting to have a long term motivation to create art for the next several months. I am so excited for the next few months!
